Avoid Your Worst Music Production Enemy: Data Loss

Today, I’m bringing some reflections on a full computer loss I had last Thursday and some lessons I learned from it so you don’t have to suffer them yourself:

2 THOUGHTS FROM ME

1. ALWAYS back up everything you’re doing, especially your ongoing/unreleased projects. I’m sure that your computer will fail someday (I hope it doesn’t) and backups could prevent you from losing data. Don’t wait until is all gone to do it!

2. What would happen to you and your projects if your computer failed today and you needed a full restore of your main computer? Would you lose any relevant data? If your answer is ‘Yes’, don’t wait until it’s too late to take action.

1 QUESTION FOR YOU

What would happen to you and your projects if your computer failed today and you needed a full restore of your main computer? Would you lose any relevant data? If your answer is ‘Yes’, don’t wait until it’s too late to take action.

PS. I have a whole system in place built for backups so I didn’t lose anything. If you need help setting your “backup solution”, feel free to reach out to me!
